Dear Editor,

Distance Learning has been terrible this year and last. I understand the necessity behind it and wouldn’t want to go back if it meant getting sick, but it is just a major disappointment. Academically, there is a major lack of motivation among everyone, compounded by the conflicting styles from all the different teachers. Socially, it is even worse. Many people, myself included, interact with most of their friends mainly at school. Taking that away from everyone and leaving them cooped up at home is a serious hit to their social life. Even when we go back, social life is still affected with the odd distribution of lunches splitting up lunch groups to fragments. While it is necessary, it is terrible, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that I hope we can go back as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Jason Sellers
