Sam Weiss
IMG_0874Position: Senior Staff Reporter

Sam Weiss is a towering 6 foot tall 17-year-old senior that has been in the Manitou district since kindergarten. His favorite animal is any big cat but mostly, it'd have to be a tiger. This semester is his third time being a Mass Media student and he is also on an independent study because he's working with The Pikes Peak Bulletin. What got him into mass media and journaling was his dad, who works for The Bulletin also. Working with his dad is weird for Sam because he's used to only see Mr. Weiss for family activities. His favorite part about being a reporter is learning about people through interviews. He thinks the perk of being in this class is that he gets different experiences by going out and taking pictures for stories and interviews. Sam's favorite story that he wrote was a story about high school students and their summer jobs.
