Anela Wright, Senior Reporter
This is Anela Wright’s (12) third year as a journalist and her second year taking Mass Media. Her most notable feature is her fiery red hair that matches her bright personality. Being involved in cheerleading since her childhood has enabled her become this year’s C0-Captain of the Cheer Team. She is also involved in TAWC, Student Council, and Key Club. Wright is also the Co-Editor of her families radio station, Manitou Springs Pika Radio. “My family’s been super involved with Manitou for a really long time and I think what’s really great about the station is that they get unknown artists that are really good and get them out into the world,” Wright said. Being an only child allows her to be especially involved with her family’s business. She hopes to attend college in New Orleans, more specifically Tulane University, where she is getting a nearly full ride. She is wanting to major in journalism with a minor in photography if possible.
