Last week, the student body voted to decide the executive board for the 2015-2016 school year. Read more about that election here. This week, class boards are being decided.

Class boards are a group of four students selected from each class to represent that class for an entire year. Each board includes a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.

Instead of the candidates giving speeches to their classes, each made a video to be presented to their class. These videos were played as video announcements in advisory on Wednesday, April 29th.

For the class of 2016, Taylor Finn and Elizabeth Hawkes ran for president. Sophie Kilroy ran for vice president and Mia Elliot ran for secretary. There was no candidate for senior class treasurer.

In the class of 2017, four students ran for president. These were Kaylin Cole, Brennan McLaren, Lily Reavis and Carli Nanfito. Four more students ran for vice president: Blanca Blake, Amelia McKenzie, Emma Abendroth and Bailey Visscher-Nickerson. The secretary and treasurer positions each had one candidate, Monique Heiniger for secretary and Andrea Edwards for treasurer.

The class of 2018 only had one candidate. Maddie Butts ran for vice president.

Voting will be open until Friday, May 1st at 9:40 am. Boards will be announced the same day.
