Tarran Beitey-Everly, age 14, of Manitou Springs, Colorado, passed away Mar. 2, 2023, in his home under hospice care following a decline in his health. Beitey-Everly was born July 7, 2009. He was enrolled at Manitou Springs High School in ninth grade when he passed. Beitey-Everly also attended Ute Pass Elementary School, Manitou Springs Elementary School, and Manitou Springs Middle School. He had a positive attitude, a strong love for learning, a passion for music and his mom stated, “He was just easy to love.” Megan Lamoreaux is a teacher in Manitou Springs School District who worked closely with Beitey-Everly. “My favorite memories of Tarran are when he would make us all laugh by doing something unexpected,” said Lamoreaux. “He loved when his nurses and paras would come up and help him play a game, and he would get the biggest smile on his face.” There is currently no information about a memorial for Beitley-Everly. However, Anna Conrad, principal at MSHS, did lead the memorial for him at the assembly for Mustang Strong Day as a way for the school to honor him.
