Snow arrives in Manitou

Snow+arrives+in+Manitou

The first snow in Colorado Springs has come a bit earlier than usual this year, on October 25. Normally, the first snowfall comes around Halloween, but this year it snuck up on Colorado Springs residents about a week early. The snow is supposed to continue falling tonight, but after that it is not expected to cool back down until November 3. Though only one inch of snow stuck to the ground Thursday, many Manitou Springs High School students hoped for a snow day on Friday to kick off the weekend. It is about time to pull out the heavy sweaters, long johns, and hot chocolate. But before you do, enjoy this last week of warm weather because Jack Frost is headed to Manitou Springs.
