Calvin Kuhlman (aka The Barbarian) is a senior and a Mass Media newcomer. He is infatuated with the worlds of soccer and the card game Magic. He was nicknamed "The Barbarian" by his soccer coach, Coach Mack, because of his barbaric way of stopping people from scoring, even before they reach the goalie. His favorite color is green, but he thinks his personality is better represented by purple. Purple is made out of the colors blue, which represents his calm side, and red, which embodies his barbaric characteristics. Calvin's current favorite band is The Offspring. He is particularly drawn to their song "Lightning Rod". Three things he could not live without are food, a Magic deck, and his X-Box.
