The Manitou Mustangs girls basketball team swept the Buena Vista Demons away on Saturday, February 11 at a home conference game. Manitou beat Buena Vista by nearly 50 points.

The Mustangs were expecting an easy win when they led into the second half 43-10. Shelby Megyeri (12) came close to scoring half of the Mustang’s points, throwing up 27 out of the 74 scored by the team overall.

The Mustangs will have their final regular-season home conference game Tuesday, February 14 against James Irwin at 5:30.

The Valentine’s Day game will be senior night for Manitou’s senior athletes.
