This morning Feb. 20, the cast list for this year’s musical, the Broadway classic Hello, Dolly! was posted on the drama board in junior hall. Auditions were held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, and callbacks on Wednesday, Feb. 19, each night lasting upwards of two and a half hours as potential cast members sang, danced, and acted in an attempt to impress the directors.

As with every year, the Musical director for this year’s show is Mrs. Stevie Astley, although this show will be her last at Manitou Springs High School before her retirement. The Theatre Director this year is Mr. Severio Greta, whose previous titles at Manitou include Grease (2010) and Oliver (2006).

Manitou Springs High School’s Hello, Dolly! will officially be performed on Apr. 11th and 12th, and rehearsals will start this coming week with a read-through of the script on Monday, Feb. 24. The cast is as follows:
