Marissa Thomas is a 15-year-old sophomore at Manitou Springs High School. This is her first year in Mass Media, as well as her first year in district 14. She has a passion for sports, specifically volleyball, and is an outside player on the varsity team. Her favorite subject in school is English, and she loves to write and read. Her uncle does professional photography, which sparked her interest for the subject. Because of these interests, she joined mass media.
