Adele Goodwin (9), a flyer for Manitou Springs High School (MSHS) Cheerleading and one of the fastest runners on MSHS Cross Country, has some advice when it comes to juggling multiple sports: communication is key. Adele’s goal for this year in cross country is to make it to state. “I work on homework every night, focus in class, and I communicate with all my coaches,” she said. Goodwin likes school and enjoys most of her classes. Goodwin wants to continue cheerleading in the future. “I like both sports because I’m part of a team” Goodwin said.
