Don’t judge a book by its cover, but read through its table of contents.

Kristopher Hill, a sophomore at Manitou Springs High School (MSHS), recently transferred from out of the district. Hill is a video game fanatic and is quite talented when it comes to the entertainment consoles. 

Statistics show that 58% of America, which is three out of five people, believe violent video games influence “violent tendencies” in players. However, Kristopher Hill is a walking example that violent video games don’t entice violent behaviors and that they can even inspire creativity. 

He can play several different instruments and even streams his video gaming online, because of his passion for the action and first-person shooters and quest type games. Hill is a living, breathing example that even though playing violent video games can be considered harmful, it can also inspire great things.
