Mustang Basketball Keeps Momentum in Win Against Salida

The Mustangs traveled away to Salida on Friday, February 3. They went into the second half ahead by six points 21-15. The Spartans tried to make a comeback, as they scored double the points the Mustangs did in the second quarter, but did not succeed and lost their home conference game 55-30. Cole Sienknecht (11) and Lucas Rodholm (12)  led the Mustangs in points for the game, Rodholm with 16 and Sienknecht with 19. Sienknecht had five three-pointers, Davyn Adamscheck (12) following with one. The boys C team also won on Friday, and JV lost by one point in overtime. The junior varsity and varsity boys will travel to Vanguard for a conference game on Wednesday, February 8 while C team plays at home.
