Manitou Wrestling Loses Momentum in Meet Against Palmer

The wrestling team went against Palmer on Tuesday, January 17.
Palmer won by 6 points due to having the majority of their participants forfeit, since Manitou had no competitors for their specific weight class to go against. The forfeits resulted in a short, bittersweet last home meet for the teams’ seniors Atticus Fredrickson and Julian Sanchez. Fredrickson won his match; however, Sanchez had to forfeit since Palmer had no competitor in his weight class. This was the last home meet for the Mustangs and they will travel away for a tournament on Friday January 19. The final score was 40-34, Palmer.
