For many years NHS has been a part of the Penrose-St. Francis Blood Drive. This year it is on Tuesday, November 1st, from 9-2. To get a permission sheet and sign up for a time slot go to Mrs. Roberson’s room.

There are a few requirements for donating blood:

– You must be at least 16 years old.

-If you are younger than 18 you must get permission slip signed by a parent or guardian.

-You must be in good health and pass a basic health and lifestyle screening.

-You must weigh at least 110 pounds.

Before donating you must drink 16 oz of water and eat within 2 hours of your time slot. There is always a need for more donators.
